That is all from this game. The action continues in the PSL as Islamabad United will take on Multan Sultans on the 16th of this month. Do join us at 8.30 pm IST (3 pm GMT) and earlier for the build up. Till then, goodbye and cheers!
Shaheen Afridi, the skipper of Lahore Qalandars says all the players are in good touch and he is feeling good as a captain. Tells he sticks to his strength during his bowling. Credits the way Rishad Hossain has been bowling. Appreciates Fakhar Zaman's knock as well and talks about the partnership with Daryl Mitchell as well.
Fakhar Zaman wins the PLAYER OF THE MATCH AWARD. He says the record shows that whenever he scores about fifty, they go onto win but he just feels lucky, as the bowlers did a great job as well. Mentions his role as an opener is always as an aggressor but he had to play differently as they lost a couple of wickets. Reckons that despite scoring runs, he is still not feeling fully fit.
...Presentation..
David Warner, the skipper of Karachi Kings admits losing early wickets in the Powerplay didn't help them and earlier, they leaked too many runs in the middle overs, which took the momentum away. Tells he is loving the energy and attitude in this group and says he is absolutely loving the support he is getting.
Rishad Hossain, Sikandar Raza, Asif Afridi, the spin trio, did a lot of damage in the middle phase and that helped Lahore Qalandars kill the game but it was Shaheen Afridi's first over which set the tone for the rest of the innings and his fellow bowlers didn't disappoint at all. A thumping win for Lahore Qalandars and their confidence will be sky high at the moment.
Karachi Kings lost the mighty Warner and Vince who scored a century in the previous game, in the very first over. Kings tried to stitch a partnership with Shan Masood and Tim Seifert in the middle but they too fell just after the Powerplay. Khushdil Shah and Hasan Ali then scored a few boundaries but in all honesty, the game was all but over near the halfway mark when Karachi Kings lost 7 wickets till then.
A thumping win for Lahore Qalandars and they stitch consecutive wins after losing the opening game against United. The batters did the job perfectly. 201 on this pitch is slightly overpar but credit to their batters to score such against some quality bowlers in Kings' ranks. Fakhar Zaman and Daryl Mitchell played brilliantly to get the score towards 200 however, Karachi Kings were pumped back in the chase in the very first over as the Eagle, Shaheen Afridi struck twice in the first over.

Bowls it short and on middle, Milne looks to pull but top edges it to mid-wicket where it lands safely. Went off the cue end actually.
