Presentation time...
Meanwhile, MINY have lost another game that was theirs for the taking. They posted a decent total on the board and had SFU pretty much on the back foot when they claimed four wickets in the powerplay and had them reeling on 108/6. However, they could not get rid of Bartlett, who stole a win from them tonight. Naveen-ul-Haq and Sunny Patel were the standout bowlers for the MI side, while Trent Boult, Ehsan Adil, and Michael Bracewell also took wickets but went for plenty and failed to stop the runs. Earlier today, MI New York posted 182/7 with a fine fifty from Quinton de Kock while Kieron Pollard and Sunny Patel made handy runs at the backend. San Francisco Unicorns, playing at home for the first time, have managed to make it three wins out of three here while MI New York have lost two games now and will be keen to bounce back in the next outing.
An outstanding unbeaten knock of 59 from 25 balls takes the San Francisco Unicorns over the line in a thrilling encounter at the Oakland Coliseum. Chasing a formidable score of 183 for the win, the Unicorns were in all sorts of trouble as they lost four big wickets inside the powerplay. Hassan Khan (42) and Tim Seifert (33) got them back in the game with a 64-run stand. Things got tough when the home side both the set batters in the space of a few overs, but Xavier Bartlett showed his prowess with the bat and belted five maximums to take his side over the line with five balls to spare.
