Virat Kohli added another milestone to his legendary career on Wednesday (December 3) by becoming the player with the most ODI centuries in India–South Africa encounters. His hundred in the second ODI at Raipur not only extended his overall ODI tally to 53 centuries, but also marked his seventh century against the Proteas.

Before Kohli’s feat, the record was jointly held by AB de Villiers and Quinton de Kock, both of whom had scored six tons each in ODI clashes between the two nations.

Kohli reached his century off 90 balls, bringing up the milestone with a single on the final delivery of the 38th over bowled by Marco Jansen.
