Hong Kong Cricket’s post read, “Legendary Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin (@rashwin99) is set to light up Hong Kong! He’ll be a key part of Team India at the @hongkongsixes 2025, happening from November 7 to 9. Fans will get the rare chance to watch Ashwin’s wizardry in the fastest, most entertaining format of the game. Get ready, Hong Kong—the stage is set for a cricketing spectacle!”
Ashwin’s Impressive International Career
Ashwin’s illustrious international career spanned 14 years, from June 2010 to December 2024, where he played 106 Tests, 116 ODIs, and 65 T20Is for India. He claimed 537 wickets in Tests, 156 in ODIs, and 72 in T20Is. Additionally, Ashwin contributed with the bat, scoring 3503 runs in Tests and 707 runs in ODIs.
His last competitive match was on May 20, 2025, in the IPL for Chennai Super Kings, where he took 2 wickets for 41 runs in 4 overs against Rajasthan Royals at Arun Jaitley Stadium, New Delhi.
Ashwin’s Post-Retirement Plans
Ashwin, who retired from the IPL in 2025, previously mentioned in his retirement post that he plans to play in various leagues around the world.
