This marks the second time in the tournament that India has boycotted a fixture against Pakistan, having also opted out of their group stage clash earlier.

Fans who had purchased tickets for the now-cancelled India vs Pakistan semifinal will be refunded 50% of their purchase. Warwickshire County Cricket Club issued a statement noting that refunds will be processed automatically via the original payment method within 30 days.
